Wednesday, March 19th the students of Cornerstone Montessori, parents and teachers took a field trip to the Carnegie Science Center.

The children ranging in age from 2 to 5 years old enjoyed all the Science Center had to offer. In the Kitchen Theater, they learned about what different animals eat and were introduced to terms such as carnivore, herbivore and omnivore.

In the Buhl Digital Dome, the children watched "The Little Star that Could" and were introduced to sun and the solar system in which they live.

It was a wonderful day spent in exploration and learning and one which The Staff of Cornerstone Montessori hopes to make a yearly tradition.
