My real blog

It is unlikely that I will ever post here, even about issues regarding Murrysville and the Franklin Regional School District. You can find my blog here.

IT IS AMAZING THAT THIS LITTLE CRUD IS ALLOWED TO TEACH TO OUR KIDS.
What I believe in
Americans United for the Separation of Church and State
Freedom From Religion Foundation (Freethinkers)
American Atheists
National Abortion and Reproductive Rights League (NARAL)
Gays and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD)
American Humanist Association
National Education Association
LOOK UP THE BLOG FROM HER LINK ON ON YOUR MURRYSVILLE
THEN CONTACT THE SCHOOL BOARD AND DEMAND THAT SHE NOT TEACH OUR KIDS
Obviously your teachers (substitute or not) didn't do so well with the reading comprehension lessons. She lives in Central PA, genius. She grew up here.
Now if you'll excuse me, I must go burn a flag.
if i catch you burning my flag - you will face my wrath
you sound as if you might be a teacher yourself
remember - those who can do those who cant teach with only a few exceptions
.
... doesn't mean you should go posting comments about other people who make you angry, Bolkovac. Please harrass someone else. I'm allowed to believe what I want. And you are allowed to believe what you want. (Which, I expect, is quite opposite from me.) Just because you were never taught to be caring and open-minded doesn't give you the right to post about people who do have those qualities. [EDIT: Well, tecnically, you do have the right. But I also have the right to defend myself from nasty people like you.] And if you live in Murrysville, this "little crud" won't be teaching your kids. No need to worry, Bolkovac.
I feel sorry for you.
I appreciate you commenting to Bolkovac's post. And you are exactly right, just because we don't believe in the same things, doesn't mean we have to harm those who do. This world would be boring if we all agreed all the time. Thanks again. :-)
First of all, the "terms of service" item #4 for this forum:
4." Proper behavior will help make YourMurrysville.com more successful and useful for its members. Therefore, you agree not to post, e-mail or otherwise make available through the site Content:
that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, libelous, or invasive of another's privacy, or harms minors in any way;
that harasses, degrades, intimidates or is hateful toward an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or
disability;"
It seems to me that Bolkovac in copying Poeticallychallanged beliefs about religion and sexual orientation rights and then saying that people should agitate so that the "little crud" doesn't get to teach is in clear violation of this term of service.
As both an educator and Christian myself, I would be much more comfortable with the values of someone who is thoughtful and caring as Poeticallychallanged seems to be from what I see in her blog, than someone like Bolkovac who, I assume from the outrage, is one of the "Fox News Christians" who would more likely give money to the NRA than a more liberal charity. Of course, if there was anything available on Bolkovac's "blog" besides promoting meat sales, it would be easier for me to make a fair assessment.
It is embarrassing to people who see Christianity as a faith that calls on people to mirror the active love of Christ when hateful people cloak themselves in religion to spew forth ill-informed (this person hasn't even figured out she doesn't teach in Murrysville) venom.
Thanks, J. I think Bolkovac has been scared off, or he has at least learned the error of his ways. I aprreciate the support from you and others. As I said before, it's entirely alright to disagree, but it's not alright to attack.
Maybe he's actually working on a long, thoughtful arguement to the original post... if we can even remember what it was.
