WHAT'S ALL THAT NOISE, CARMEN!!???

Nuttin to worry about Honey, just a few thousand motorcycles going to Church.

Sunday the 22nd was the day that thousands of "Bikers", Motocycle Enthusiasts", and "Casual Riders" have been looking forward to all winter. The 11th annual Blessing of the Bikes at the Murrysville Alliance Church, and it was a record breaking event. The day started off a bit chilly, but about 8:00 AM they started rollin in. 2,10,50,200 at a time. Soon the lots were full of chrome, rubber, and expensive paint jobs. 100s of riders attended the 10:45 Service, filling the Santuary, Lobby, and the Fellowship Hall. After the service, everyone started to go down to the lower parking lot for the PRAYER For SAFETY that starts off our riding season. After a brief ceremony honoring our Service personal and our Vets, there was a prayer fot the families involved in the VT fiasco. Soon it was all over and time to go to lunch/dinner or what ever you call eating at 2:00 in the afternoon.
What a site to see so many motocycles in the parking lots of all the fine eateries in the Murrysville area.
Can't wait until next year!

Every year I get a peaceful feeling on Blessing of the Bikes Day! It's a wonderful event!

Hi: we really enjoy riding, ( in nice weather) , and would love to know of any local fun rides that are coming up in the Pittsburgh area. Live in South Hills, and feel more comfortable riding in a group. thanks, JIM

PS> sorry we missed the Blessing of Bikes this year, and would love to have had a pin to go along with one i did get the first year. Please email me before next years run so i can make it.
