The Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation endorses Rep. Pallone (D-Armstrong & Westmoreland Counties) for election to the State House in the 54th Legislative District in the April 22nd Primary Election. "We thank you for your commitment to help restore protection for human life ...," said Charlene Bashore. Representative John Pallone is also endorsed by the Westmoreland County Democratic Committee, Fraternal Order of Police, Service Employees International Union, United Mine Workers and the National Rifle Association.

Pallone's seniority and his important committee assignments, has enabled him to bring millions of dollars to the district for a variety of infrastructure improvement projects, funding for roads & bridges, funding for the second phase of feasibility study necessary to secure federal funding for the proposed Commuter Rail to Pittsburgh, increased funding for special and basic education, funding for recreation programs and public libraries and much more. The Greater Westmoreland County Labor Council will hold its 21st Annual Labor Recognition Dinner to celebrate the achievements of its honorees: John Wright - International Representative, Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 354; Vince E. Larence, Director of Public Affairs, UFCW Local 23; and Government Honoree Representative John E. Pallone - Pa House of Representatives, 54th Legislative District. These individuals are being recognized in recognition for their support of labor in Pennsylvania.
