Future of I-376 may be up in the air -- literally

The head of the state Turnpike Commission wants to ease congestion on the Parkway East by building an elevated toll road above the highway. But state Transportation Secretary Allen Biehler says there's not enough money for new projects, and transportation leaders should be more focused on finding ways to pay the cost of maintaining existing roads and bridges. They would rather spend our tax money building Routes 66 or 43. I believe two to three cars use these roads on daily basis.
