Westmoreland Cleanways will sponsor a tire, battery and appliance collection from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at Carmike Cinemas Wynnsong 12, 401 Vine St., Delmont.
Vehicle batteries, clean scrap metal and appliances without Freon will be accepted free. Disposal fees include passenger and light truck tires, $1.75 each off-rim or $2.75 each on-rim; and Freon-containing appliances, $20. Fee for heavy truck or tractor tires will be determined on-site.
