Weddings for April 24, 2008

Bumbera-Pauly

Melissa Bumbera of Monroeville and Michael Pauly of Murrysville, were united in marriage on Sept. 22, 2007, at Chestnut Ridge in Blairsville.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Mary Bumbera of Monroeville. She is a graduate of Carlow University. Melissa is employed as a special education teacher at Sunset Valley in Norwin School District.

The bridegroom is the son of Tony and Ann Pauly of Murrysville. He is a graduate of West Virginia University. Michael is employed as a sales and production supervisor at Ventana USA in Delmont.

The Rev. Martin Ankrum officiated the ceremony.

Maid of honor was Jessica Carter, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessica Bumbera, sister-in-law; Stephanie Schneider, Nicole Funkhouser and Terri Lutz, friends of the bride.

Best man was Chris Pauly, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Matt Bumbera and Mike Bumbera, brothers of the bride; Brad Stander and Chip Carter, friends.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.

Hamilton-Aquiline

Laina Michelle Hamilton and Matthew Sean Aquiline were united in marriage on Oct. 27, 2007, at St. Bartholomew Church.

The bridegroom is the son of Michael and M. Eileen Aquiline of Murrysville, formerly of Penn Hills. He is executive director at the International Council of Employers.

The bride is the daughter of Michelle Mercier of Meadville and Martin Hamilton of Conneaut Lake. She is Government Affairs Representative at the Building and Construction Trades Dept., AFL-CIO.

The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Samuel Esposito.

Laina was escorted by her brother Adin Hamilton of Pittsburgh.

Matron of honor was Dr. Gretta Hamilton Meeker, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Heather Schmidt, Michele Leiberman and Erin Devlin.

Best man was David DiGioia. Groomsmen were Douglas Doyle, Craig Schwartz and Patrick McCaffrey.

A reception was held at the Omni William Penn Hotel.

The couple honeymooned in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.

They now reside in Washington, DC.
