Representative John Pallone (D-Armstrong/Westmoreland Counties) announced on April 1, 2008 that he has successfully secured Community Revitalization Grant Funds for the Municipality of Murrysville to fund two important projects within the community. The first grant from Representative Pallone will provide adequate funding for the Murrysville Police Department to purchase Enhanced Speed Enforcement Equipment to assist the Police Department in its effort to contol the speed of drivers along municipal roads and to keep the community and its children safe. The second grant from Representative Pallone will provide needed revenue for the Murrysville Invasive Plant Commission to help fund its invasive plant initiative.
