The 4-H Conservation Club is participating in the Conservation Connection at the Zoo. This event is being hosted by the Westmoreland Conservancy [1].
Conservation Connection at the Zoo is an entertaining event designed for everyone interested in protecting our region's natural lands, rivers and streams, and wildlife. Families, friends, and members of conservation-related groups will join together for fun, good food, information, and conversation. Plans include a picnic-style dinner in the zoo's large Garden Tent, behind-the-scenes zoo tours, guest speakers, conservation-oriented displays from many organizations, and entertaining children's activities.
Conservation Connection at the Zoo will run from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
The ticket prices are now set (parking is free). The price will be $15 for each adult, $8 for each child ages 3 to 12, and under age 3 is free.
However, tickets must be purchased in advance. You can do so from their website or by mail.
