Pinto softball
• Reed Smith LLC earned a 14-5 win over Imagewear on May 5 with four-hit performances from Brooke Zanotta (triple), Tierney Smith (double) and Hannah Humbert.
Adding three singles were Courtney Guzik, Jocelyn Taddonio and Holly Aim. Natalie Drnjevich and Abby Sedivy had two hits apiece. The game ball went to Guzik.
In defeat, Alexis Miller and Jordan Nonnenberg (double) each had three hits. Lindsey Soles added a double and single. Also smacking two hits were Makenzie Hlozek and Mia Miller.
• Imagewear edged Gen Tech, 19-18, on April 22. Mackenzie and Samantha Hlozek each had four hits, and Jordan Nonnenberg added three hits and three runs scored in the win, and Emma Trimbur had three hits, including a double.
Adding two singles each were Mia Miller, Alexis Miller, Rachel Harris, Leah Myers, Gianna Durye and Becky Henninger.
For Gen Tech, Cecilia Markley and Francessca Giacchino had four hits each and scored four runs. Paige Verona had four hits and three runs scored. Christina Kemerer had three hits, and adding two each were Maria Giacchin, Cassidy Hopkins and Julia Kukalis.
• On April 29, Imagewear defeated Sealer King, 16-4. Rachel Harris doubled and singled in the win. Smacking three hits were Mackenzie Hlozek, Mia Miller, Lindsey Soles and Emma Trimbur. Jordan Nonnenberg, Maegan Babbit, Alexis Miller, Becky Henninger, Leah Myers and Gianna Duryea had two each.
In the loss, Gillian Mazurek had three hits, and adding two singles apiece were Zoe Esterath and Brittney Stanko. Rachel Ray and Katie Clemente had one hit each.
• Imagewear narrowly defeated Flynn's Tire, 7-5, on May 1.
Alexis Miller was solid at the plate with a double and single, as well as making a great line-drive catch in the field. Stroking three hits for Imagewear were Mackenzie Hlozek, Jordan Nonnenberg and Mia Miller.
In the loss, Rebecca Friedman doubled and singled. Adding three hits were Mikala Durkoske and Courtney Giles. Hitting two singles were Raeanne Jordan, Olivia Letterine, Kay Hurey and Kara Miller. Hurey also made two nice catches.
• On May 3, Imagewear edged Reign Dance Productions, 11-10.
Mia Miller had a double and two singles in the win. For Imagewear, Mackenzie Hlozek, Jordan Nonnenberg and Lindsey Soles each had four hits. Alexis Miller had three. Leah Myers made a big catch at second base in a tight contest.
In the loss, Carrie Cannobio had four hits and four runs scored.
Angela Giannangeli and Hannah Strobel added four hits and three runs scored. Abey McMahon doubled and had three singles.
Pinto baseball
• Jacob Enterprise Rays defeated ACD Athletics, 17-15, on May 2. Leading the way for the Rays were Jake Williams, Zach Jackson, Chris Munson, A.J. DiNatale and Greg Baird, who each went 4 for 4. Ryan Lindeman and Alex Barr went 3 for 3, and Justin LeDonne was 3 for 4.
In the loss, Joseph Constantin, Brard Brncic and Conrad Molinaro went 4 for 4. Dominic DeBone, Sam DiNinno and Lance Mostowy were 3 for 4.
• On May 5, Jacob Enterprise Rays beat the Marlins, 11-8.
A.J. DiNatale and Alex Barr went 3 for 3 to lead the winning team. Bronson Ianno, Zach Jackson, Ryan Lindeman, Justin LeDonne, Michael Monro and Dave Baird added two hits each.
In the loss, Palmer Jackson and Adam Rudzinski were 3 for 3. Cameron Helm, Frankie Simpkins, Senan Olszewski, Ryan Remaley and Nate Smith added two hits.
