Applewood Cookery was presented by the Washington County Fair Board with an award for the best food overall at an event at the fair grounds. This was Applewood Cookerys first time in the Washington area. The menu for the day was, western steak , pulled pork , and deep fried turkey for the main courses and parsely potatoes , marinated vegatable medley and home style french fries also for dessert cinnamon apple bite pasteries were served , these pastries are a trade mark sweet of Applewood Cookery.  read more »
